Song that Holds The Most Meaning For You

What Massive Attack song then contains the most meaning to you? It can be from the lyrics/music/whatever?

I think most good music evokes feelings and with Massive's music alot it helps me recall different memories or situations in my life, mostly good times as well

Here's five I can think of straight away:

1. Small Time Shot Away - Recalls all the good things associated with summer to me. Lazy days out on the beach on a clear summer's day. The keyboard melody when listening on headphones, just sets me at peace.

2. False Flags - Touches me on a intellectual level and combined with the video has left me with a few things to ponder.

3. I Against I - This song helped turn one of my good mates into a fan of the band. Never thought I'd get him to listen to them until he heard this. Thought they were a female-fronted group before this.

4. Teardrop - Maybe the first song I heard of Massive Attack back when I was only 13 in the summer of 1998. I remember it pretty well. I was sick in bed and then Teardrop came on the radio. Back then it struck me as something beautiful but couldn't quite express it. When I heard the band's name it struck me as that something so beautiful was made by a band with such an aggressive sounding name Also back then I never bought music so it took me another 2 years until I finally bought Mezzanine and properly discovered the band.

5. Hymn Of The Big Wheel - Love it. Simple really. I think after I heard this song for the first time after listening to both Mezzanine and then Blue Lines I thought to myself, yeah this band is probably my favorite band now!

So whats your stories?

Butterfly Caught - as some of the lyrics coincides with things in my life.

I have fair skin and freckles,

One morning I woke up at 5am and saw a bright comet in the dawn sky and it reminded me of the lyric 'Pearly Sunrise'

I was ill once and a friend gave me Honeysuckle juice, which was derived from a flower which I can't remember the name of and is a drink to detox your system.

Another track that gets me, and one the majority of people would overlook is the final piece of music on the Bullet Boy Score E.P. It begins around the 24th minute or so.
Truly heart-wrenching, the sadness just drips out of it. Its really the sister track to Bullet Boy (Vox) especially with the same plucking guitar melody common between the two, and its definitely the highlight of the instrumental part of the soundtrack.
