Wantlist
My Wantlist of rare Massive Attack items
In case you've had the chance to look over the Discography & Memorabilia, you will realise that MASSIVEATTACK.IE is serious about trying to compile a few complete and comprehensive list of all Massive Attack records along with promo items and Memorabilia. The current list is certainly be no means complete. If anyone has any rare Massive Attack item which is not listed there and which they would be willing to part with either as a sale or in a trade, please let MASSIVEATTACK.IE know by going to the contact page and droping a line. If it is a sale or trade your after we can hopefully negotiate a deal together.
The rules are very simple. I am only interested in official material that was issued by Massive Attack's record label. The majority af all of Massive Attack's records were released on either Circa Records (1990-1998) or Virgin Records (2003-present). I do not accepted bootlegs or unofficially produced items, so please don't bother. Assuming the item is the genuine article, it can be anything such as a CD (retail or promo), cassette, vinyl, t-shirt, poster, press kits, stickers, postcards, video tape etc... You should also reveal the overall condition of the item you wish to sell/trade, such as mint, near mint, good or poor.
Of the items I've heard of but have yet to aqquire these my five personnel top picks, in no particular order for my wantlist. If anyone could help in procuring them, then that would be greatly appreiated.
1. 3.9% Multimedia CD-ROM
2. Risingson/Teardrop VCD
3. Protection Condom Promo Item
4. Collected CD2 CD-R Promo
5. 100th Window Interview VHS
Also if you have any bootlegs both audio or video that are not archived in the Bootography section of this site then please get in touch as I would very much like to get my hands on whatever it is you have. I will take lossy compressed bootlegs (mp3's etc...) but would much rather have lossless quality(FLAC etc...) like the vast majority of all the bootlegs at MASSIVEATTACK.IE are shared as.
While the next two sections don't specfically belong on the Wantlist page, I (AKA Richard, the owner and administrator of MASSIVEATTACK.IE) felt this would be the most appropriate place to put the following content. What 'The Big Book Of Massive' (or what I tend to call it) is, is my favourite utmost single item I own in my entire Massive Attack collection. The one reason for that being that it is totally unique and special because I made it! It a huge scrapbook of newspaper and magazine cuttings taken from the last 20 years up to now on everything the worldwide media has published on Massive Attack. At the moment it is up to nearly 300 pages and still growing every so often. I have collected cuttings such as reviews, articles, news stories and interviews with the band that date back to the early review in the orginial any Love single back in 1988 right up to the present. Now all I need is to get it autographed in person! The images below are a few sample pages from it so you can get an idea of what it looks like. I organized the clippings in no real chronological order as I like the haphazard look I created. Thanks for looking!

The vast majority of all the items listed in the Discography & Memorabilia part of the Collector I personally own myself. I have been collecting Massive Attack for the relatively short period of three years since the beginning of 2005. In that time I have acculmated alot of items and rarities as you can tell by looking through the pages devoted to all this Discography & Memorabilia. Many of these items were bought on Ebay. If you are interested to know what items I have bought lately then you can check out my Ebay account which is bocluv.
To put my collection in perspective I've included the two images below which are of my Massive Attack collection neatly displayed in it's own display case and overhead stand. The only Massive Attack items I own which are not included in these pictures are my t-shirt and poster/lithograph collection along with the majority of my vinyl collection which I keep in a special LP storage box underneath my bed. Once again, thanks for taking the time to look at my collection!
