Collected Version - In reality, the version of Danny The Dog on Collected is the same song as the one on the originally released soundtrack album of the same name. The one minor difference being that unlike the soundtrack version where the start and end of the song is mixed into the two songs directly in front and behind it (The Dog Obeys and I Am Home), the Collected version has the start and end of the song not mixed with any other song elements.

Being the most substantial and longest song on the Danny The Dog soundtrack, the Danny The Dog song which is of course named after the title charater of the film, fatures during a pivotal emotional scene from the film.


Additional Info:

While it is the 19th track on the soundtrack album suggesting that it is near the end of the film, its chronological placement in the film, Danny The Dog is soon after the midpoint of the film at 1:05:37 until 1:10:48. This timing infomation was sourced from a DVD copy of the film.
