Review:

Ok, so Peeping Tom canceled the tour… that was bad, but that was announced on July 23rd… that gave you plenty of time to return the ticket. And there was an opener… João Gomes from SpaceBoys was DJ’ing a very nice set.

Yes there were some sound problems. I heard after the show Alvaro Covões talking to the stage manager or something like that, saying that they really had some sound problems… from what i heard it was something related with the equalizing, and they couldn’t get more power to the sound because the equalizing was not well done, or wasn’t done for that place… i dunno.. i don’t understand much about that…

But so what? I payed that i thought was fair (better then paying 40€ to some festival to see them…), had a very nice DJ session plus a great show by massive and then i even got the opportunity to meet them and talk with them for some minutes… What more could i ask?

Additonal Notes:

The support for this show was provided by DJ João Gomes from the SpaceBoys. When this show had been originally announced, Peeping Tom were meant to be the support act until that was changed to João Gomes.

This show marked the only the third time ever that 16 Seeter was played live. This new unheard of song featured Horace Andy on vocals and the song’s unusual name was reported by the Portugesse music press a few days later.
