Hi everyone! Welcome to the new look for MASSIVEATTACK.IE - your one stop on the net for Massive.

I decided awhile ago to move the site from being a basic static HTML template to a far more dynamic Wordpress based platform and design. Not only does this make it easier on me to maintain and update the site, I think in my opinion (and hopefully yours too!) the site is better looking while also loading faster. All the content from the old site is in the process of being transferred over to the new site. It’s a pretty tedious and time consuming process, but I aim to have it done by the end of this week. In the meantime, if you still want to visit the old site, it is still assessable at http://massiveattack.ie/home/home.php. Once all the content has been ported over though, I will be deleting the old site.

In other big news, I should be doing an interview with 3D personally when the band are over in Dublin on the 6-7th October. By the way, tickets are still available for the 2nd night show in Dublin. Get them here on Ticketmaster. As for the interview, if you have any ideas for questions, leave a comment here on this post, and I might just use it. And definitely, if you have any comments or discover any errors on the new site redesign, drops those in too either here, or on the forum. Thanks for visiting the site and everyone going to see Massive Attack over the next few months have a great time!

Like the new site design and pleased you've an interview with 3d. I have a suggestion for a question.

I've seen massive attack at gigs over the passed four years. One aspect thats increasingly impressive is their reworking of old tracks - for instance - the reggae version of 'man next door' at the hoping foundation gig in brixton in 2007. More recently the excellent version of teardrop with Martina blew me away - a fantastic reworking. Not to mention the awesome encore of Karmacoma this year at brixton academy and 'Mezzanine' was for me 'festival moment 2009' at Bestival!

So - one thing I'd like to know is are there plans to release official live material from recent tours?
