27th June 2003 - Rock Werchter Festival, Brussels, Belgium
I’m afraid I have to agree with all this. I was there also and the instruments; beats and sounds were good, but Dot sucked big time and it was almost like D’s mic was not turned on or something cos you could not hear anything when he sang (which resulted in an almost instrumental version of Butterfly Caught and Inertia Creeps). And why oh why do they stubbornly insist on playing difficult, layered 100th Window songs like name taken and antistar before a 70.000 crowd is beyond me, especially if it is at the detriment of songs like Karmacoma or man next door which can get the audience going. I think the crowd was a bit disappointed overal, and to top it up they did not play group four at the end; and they did not even come out so say thank you or goodbye at the end… was that really necessary? Sorry, but I saw Moby just before MA and he did a hell of a lot better than MA yesterday(and had a great vocalist with him). The sound was better than I expected, in fact I found it more raw and powerful than in Paris (despite it being outdoors), good PA system at Werchter!)

This show is slighly unique in that it was the only show of the 2003 show to omit Group Four from the setlist, instead ending the show with Unfinished Sympathy.
