Review:

Well at the second day I decided to go and sit away from the stage s also to be able to watch the screen projection a little more easy. And for my surprise I noticed the following Just after the door opened for us to come in the theatre the band [except from dot Allison and her guitarist ] was all in the rock behind the stage a place from where you could see the sunset and also watch the people getting inside the gig without be noticed easily. And they stayed there for as long as 2 hours I mean they were for 2 hours in the top of some rocks watching the sunset and I hope having great time with each other [I don't recall Horace to be with them but I maybe wrong] anyway the thing is that when they came down from the rocks there was some serious jokes going on between 3D and Daddy G and also a lot of photographs that they took of each other so I guess I ‘ll keep my fingers crossed for some of them to surface in the future in 3D’s photo works .

Now to the concert Dot Allison opened the concert once more with 5 of her songs in an acoustic version and it was clear from that point that the sound was not as good as the first day. Anyway the gig started after 30 min and it was different track listing from day one, they even performed special cases, and sorry but I wasn’t able to get out my pen and write the tracks because it was way crowded. So no info in how many songs played in day two. But it was future proof that opened the show and also it was group four that ended the show [17 minutes long at day 2] and 2 pause as well. The whole gig at day 2 lasted 1 h and 55 min. BUT it had serious sound problems They were playing too loud and the venue was amplifying the sound very strange so it was unpleasant to hear. Also the guitar was low in the mix and on the beginning both 3D mic and the guitar was making the annoying whisper that bad tuned mics do….. Sad

Anyway they had very good mood so they overcome the problems and it was at more than one point into the gig that they [3D and DEl nanja] hugged each other or messed up with the bass player. the others were ok [Dot was not in a good shape as she was on day one] and also at one point the guitarist lost his tempo or something happened cause there was a short [like half second] pause in the middle of a song. So day 2 gave us a less majestic show but still a great one at day one so Massive Attack performed brilliant once more in Greece. I am waiting for Annabel’s photo of the gig [because I know she took a lot!!!] Anyway sorry for this long post and thank you MA for coming to Greece hope to see you soon perform here.

Additonal Notes:

After the previous night’s performance were Special Cases had failed to played, it was put back on the setlist for this show. This would be the last time that Special Cases would be played live, as it was removed from the setlist for the 2003 tour after this date. It has not returned to the live setlist since.
