Paradise Circus Promo Video Debuts Online
The promo video for the lead single, Paradise Circus, from the then upcoming Massive Attack album, Heligoland, gets its premiere online on this date. It was directed by Toby Dye and featured former porn actress Georgina Spelvin recounting her past whilst put to clips from her 1973 film, “The Devil In Miss Jones”.

New MA.COM Website + Splitting The Atom Promo Video
3D launched his official website/blog on this date, as a place to showcase his artwork. The site also featured an updated version of his original 2002 Nocturne Mix avaialble to stream for free, which offered a new version of Future Proof, which had been played live in 2004 but until now unreleased.

2009 Tour Kicks Off At Bestival
Massive Attack played the first show of their 2009 tour at Bestival in the Isle Of Wight, on this date. On this tour they debuted many of the enw songs from the soon to come 5th album, Heligoland. In total they played 46 shows in 2009.

New Terry Callier Album Featuring 3 New Massive Attack Songs
A new album entitled “Hidden Conversations” from American soul singer, Terry Callier was released on this date in the UK. Terry should already be familar to many Massive Attack fans has having previously collaborated before with Massive Attack on their last single, Live With Me. “Hidden Conversations” contains two new songs (Wings and John Lee Hooker) co-written/produced by Robert Del Naja and Neil Davidge, as well as a new version of Live With Me.

Neil Davidge Score For Film “Push”
A new film named “Push” opened today in US cinemas. It was scored entirely by Massive Attack’s long time producer, Neil Davidge and is the first major project he has undertaken solo, since joining the band. Neil worked on the soundtrack last summer, while Massive Attack were busy touring. It recieved no physical release but can be streamed for free at Neil’s official website.
